BioI am a 30+ year old former English major (with a worthless Master's Degree, lol).
In my former lives I've
- taught literature and writing at the University
- written, edited and produced in a one man stage prouction for the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago
- helped develop and design the Farm-in-the-Zoo exhibit at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago
- spent 5 months treking through New Zealand doing freelance photography
- spent 10 wonderful days on Safari in South Africa and Swaziland and actually got to see all of the Big Five
- tracked orangs in the wilds of Indonesia
- taught English in Japan
Currently, I am starting up my own publishing company Fantail Ink Publishing that specializes in discovering and promoting fresh new voices.
As for my own writing, I write mostly essays and commentary on the Harry Potter Universe and have a book coming out in July of 2008.
And of course, I am a fanfic junkie - particularly Ron/Hermione from Harry Potter and Sara and Grissom from CSI.
Otherwise, I'm pretty boring - aside from the being a tad bit mental part.
